Waxing is one of those treatments that is pretty self-explanatory. Known as a semi-permanent hair removal treatment as it takes about 4 – 6 weeks for hair to grow back into the root that the last hair was removed from. The treatment also helps to remove dead and damaged skin cells from the top layer of your skin.
We apply a soft wax to your skin then apply a removal strip and remove the wax along with the hair that is under the wax strip, this is called strip waxing. We also use Hard wax for Brazilian or more delicate areas this is applied directly to the skin using a disposable spatula, then using the pick/flick method the wax is removed to reveal hair free silky skin. We only use professional waxes from Caronlab. After care is applied to soothe the area. We also have Hair Halt that can be applied immediately after waxing to slow the hair growth down. Almost any area of your body can be waxed from your eyebrows to your pubic area and your toes through to your nose and all other areas in between. If it has hair then we can remove it. Waxing is a wonderful alternative to taking to the area with a razor – cuts and shaving rash on some parts of your body really is not a lot of fun. Alternatively waxing is a good transition to Intense Pulse Light / Super Hair Reduction if you are planning to move to this in the future. Sometimes Intense Pulse Light / Super Hair Reduction will not work for your skin tone/type or hair type and waxing is your best option.
